Efficient Government. Strong Fiscal Policy. Fighting for Families.
Walker and Grand Rapids are home to me. I grew up on the Westside, attended school at Union High and now raise my son near the same neighborhoods where I learned the importance of respect, tradition and service to our community.
I’m not a politician and I don’t back down to special interests when it comes to protecting our tax dollars. There’s no fine print - I recognize your expectations of our local leaders in this community - limited, efficient and honest service. You can count on my continued advocacy for government reforms to reduce waste, local collaboration to increase efficiency, and a strong work ethic to finish the job.
My Accomplisments as Your County Commissioner
- Oversight of the West Michigan Sports Commission which attracted $20 million dollars in spending within our community.
- Development of streamlined government practices as member of the Community Collaboration Work Group.
- Chair of Steepletown Neighborhood Services, providing support to hundreds of seniors and low-income children throughout West Michigan.
- Advancement of cross-community fire services as member of the Fire Commission and parks services through Millenium Park Advisory Board.
